| Generally, over80%of parts for plastic injection mould are standard parts, the much using of standard part greatly improved the efficiency of product design and reduced manufacturing cost of mould. The standard parts library and mould base library that were established according to the domestic demands have high application value. Therefore, based on the analysis of the content structure of the new national standard called GB/T12555-2006Injection mould bases for plastics, this paper respectively established standard parts library and mould base library for plastic injection mould according to the existing standards with the help of family table and Pro/Program function module of Pro/E.This paper firstly established the2006edition national standard parts library and mould base library by using the tool of family table of Pro/ENGINEER. Thereinto, standard parts library consist of shaft parts such as oriented parts, fastening parts, launch parts, locating ring, sprue bush, ect and board parts like block, moving (fixed) mould plate, moving (fixed) clamp plate, etc. Standard mould base library that consist of four types of sprue hole formwork series was established on the basis of established original formwork model by setting the family table of component and the terms. By employing the table driven technique, the parameterization of this new international standard was fulfilled under the Pro/E environment.Besides, using Pro/Program as the tool of secondary development, standard parts library and mould base library were established again by using the technologies such as parametric rough, parametric modeling, relation expression, programming, assembly modeling, etc. Based on the original model called sprue hole type B mould base, standard mould base library was established by programming which could complete the formwork types of switching and transfer of data between components and parts. Besides human-machine interaction was taken by questioning, and the series of four types of sprue hole mould base library was finally established.Commissioning show that:standard parts library and mould base library for plastic injection mould that were built in the paper can be called conveniently, easy extensibility, easy to upcoming modification and perfection. The advantages of parametric modeling were deeply developed to realize the serialization and parameterization of the mould base, meanwhile, the design idea and knowledge of enterprises could be integrated into the exploitation so as to serve the design effort of mould better. This paper can serve as reference for the follow-up development work of standard parts library and mould base library. |
