1. A novel cationic fluorinated polyacrylate emulsion(CPF) wasprepared by copolymerization of perfluoroalkylethyl acrylate(FA) withdodecyl/octadecyl acrylate(LMA), dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate(DM) and2-hydroxypropyl acrylate(HPAA) at the presenceof (NH42S2O8as a water soluble free-radical initiator andcationic/nonionic surfactants as mixed emulsifier. Chemical structure ofmain ingredient of CPF was characterized by infrared spectrum(IR) andproton nuclear magnetic resonance(1H NMR). The physical andchemical properties of CPF emulsion were determined, and theemulsion particle size, particle size distribution,appearance and Zetapotential were also investigated, and the application performance offluorocarbon coatings were studied. The results showed that:(1) CPF emulsion was of blue appearance, good stability and solidcontent of18.6%. The particles smooth surface like round ball. Theaverage size was129.8nm. Zeta potential of the emulsion was+21.16mV.(2) Films forming ability and performance properties offluorocarbon coating with CPF were investigated and studied byscanning electron microscopy(SEM), contact angle testing instrument.Experimental results showed that coating easily formed stronghydrophobic films on the sufaces of algam. The algam with coatinghave water contact angle of132°.The coating also have excellent acidresistance and alkali resistance.(3) Through the test and analisis, the coating has better waterrepellent effect. The best finishing conditions of CPF on coating was asfollow: the dosage of CPF is65g, the content of TiO2is12g, the curingtemperature is150℃.2. A novel polyurethane modified fluorine generation polyacrylic acid ester (CPUFP) was synthesis by the copolymerization ofdodecafluroheptyl acrylate(FA) and hydroxypropyl acrylate(HPAA) inthe polyurethane sealing prepolymerization body. Theazobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) was selected the reaction of initiator.After proper time, adding proper N-methyldiethanolamine(MDEA)monomer make system happen extender chain reaction for phaseinversion polymerization. The product’s performance was tested withinfrared spectrum(IR), transmission electron microscope(TEM) andthermogravimetic(TG). Factors that influence on the coatingperformances were tested. Factors include curing temperature, CPUFPand TiO2content. The conclusion shows:(1) Infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) indicated that the structures ofthe solvent-free anion CPUFP composite emulsion were met theexpected.(2) TEM of CPUFP emulsion showed that emulsion dispersivitywas good and the particles was rules form. The thermogravimeticanalysis (TG) indicate that the thermostability of CPUFP is excellent.(3) Application of CPUFP emulsion properties and influencecoating are studied. The results showed that the coating has excellenthydrophobic properties and stain resistant properties, when the massfraction of CPUFP emulsion and TiO2respectively is65%and10%,curing temperature and time respectively is170℃and3min, the watercantact angle on the film of the algam reached123°, stain resistantproperties level reached the level0. The study shows that the cantactangle of the coating slightly smaller, but the adhesion and stain resistantperformance of the coating improved.
