The purpose to research the integration technology of ERP system is, during the businessoperations in enterprises there are many information systems, such as financial systems, HRsystems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), procurement systems, sales systems,performance appraisal system, OA system. As the core of all of the IT systems, ERP plays animportant role in financial management and cost control. In order to reduce the complexityand repeat use of information systems, to reduce the operational risks of information systems,and improving the utilization of enterprise information systems, all the surroundinginformation systems are integrated into the ERP system, this is the inevitable trend ofdevelopment of enterprise information technology.Under the guidance of the software engineering theory, the use of software engineeringmethodology, the document details the application of ERP system integration technology inthe paper production processes of a papermaking company. Research, systems analysis anddesign, from requirements to system implementation and development, and finally to thewhole process of integration testing and on-line.The project uses requirements analysis methods from the whole to fragmented,production activities carried out a detailed investigation to sort out the functionalrequirements of the system. ERP system as the core, peripheral production operating systemto do its integration to design the blueprint and framework for the entire system. By theconfiguration and secondary development on the middleware system, the integration systemcompletes many interfaces around ERP. Under the guidance of basic function of ERPframework, we study many application and development method of integration technology,including MES system, automatic warehouse system, chain plate machine managementsystem, paper rewinding system, QA system and so on. We choose the middleware softwareof PI which is research by SAP from Germany. And finally we finished all the configurationand development of interfaces and integration. As the last, this paper made some analysis andsummary on the results of the implementation and dissemination of project.The innovation of the project is the advanced system integration technology and the useof interface monitor and governance. Aim to reduce the risk of system operation and to improve customer satisfaction. The integration of continuous production processesimplements the automatic processing of production data, greatly reduced the human input andlabor.Currently, the ERP integration projects have been successful on-line, and operated forabout1year. The project has achieved the positive results, the production and managementprocesses are the norm, the product quality has been greatly improved, the comprehensivemanagement capabilities have been enhanced. It is a significant and solid step towards theinformation technology goal of the company.Meanwhile, ERP integration technology is also important and significant in the researchfield. Under the guide of systems engineering methodology, the original distributedsubsystems would be integrated into a complete whole system by the requirement analysisand characteristics of the various technologies. The various systems work together to theoverall efficiency and improve the system performance.
