The Middle East,as one of the cradles of human civilization,has a very long city civilization.The first city of the history (Jericho)appeared in the Palestine region. And because of the Middle Eastregion lying in the land transportation hub of three delta and fivesea,so many cities,as the center of regional trade andinternational trade,obtained great progress. However,thedevelopment of the Middle East city also has encountered manychallenges,especially the impact of natural disasters,includingearthquakes,famine and pestilence. These natural disasters oftencaused serious the problem of people’s livelihood and a series ofsocial problems. Therefore,it is very important for studying theMiddle East city development process as well as the Middle Eastcity sustainable development.On this issue, the whole text is divided into three parts:introduction、body and conclusion.The introduction is mainly about the article the background, purpose, method,domestic andinternational research trends.The body part is mainly to" module + example" as the basicparadigms. From the earthquake, famine and plague, I will mainlydiscuss the earthquake, famine and pestilence of in the city ofMiddle East and the complex natural and social reasons,andin-depth exploration of the formation and development of threekinds of natural law, to further reveal the occurrence ofearthquakes, famine and plague in the Middle East city bringsprofound influence. On the basis of summing up the Middle East citypeople fighting with the three natural disasters,we can understandthe positive and effective measures and experience. At the sametime, in the course of discussion, the author presents with the" 8Izmit Earthquake, 17"," 12 / 26"," earthquake", the Mamluk Dynastyof Cairo famine" and Constantinople." Justinian plague" " to furtherunderstanding the relation between disaster and the middle eastcity. The article will combin quantitative analysis and qualitativedescription, making on three kinds of natural disaster researchbeing more close to the essence of things.The conclusion is a summary of the whole article, based on theearthquake, famine and pestilence of three kinds of naturaldisasters and city being interactive relation, pointing out 5000 years of history of the Middle East City civilization is also a historyof struggling with earthquake, famine, plague and other naturaldisasters constantly. Although many of the city in the Middle Eastwas hit by the earthquake, famine and plague, but the Middle Eastcountries in the same disaster prevention has also made greaterachievement and brilliant.
