With the contionuous development of the national economy, the demand for coal increased year by year, the intensity and depth of the mine is also increasing, then the form of mine disasters will also show diversification and frequency.Mine-earthquake as a special kind of power failure. This paper point at the fully mechanized caving coal face of 103up04 and study the mechanism of mine-earthquake.According to the field test data, structure and elastic mechanics as well as numerical simulation or other analysis method, establish mechanical modle of overlying hard rock in the gob,and calculate the component of the modle.Obtain the occurrence of mine-earthquake in Baodian is the fracture instability of hard rock, and calculate the fracturer span of hard rock under tension or sheer force is 102.65m and 250.43m,along with period breaking is 11.08m.Through RFPA.numerical software to simulate the level of rupture in overlying strata about fully mechanized caving coal face of 103up04.Obtain that release energy induce the magnitude is related to mining fracture rate, cycle weighting in the fracture zone and also relate to tectonic stress, strength in the sagging zone. The results show that in the process of advancing of coal face, the transient instability of hard rock structure in the sagging zone about 100-220m average 100m is the premise condition of mine-earthquake,and the size of tectonic stress is the necessary condition of mine-earthquak.Based on the above conclusions research on the prediction of mine-earthquake in 103up02 fully mechanized caving face, providing scientific basis to prevent mine-earthquake in Baodian coal mine.
