This paper introduces the development of rolling equipment and skin miller , focusingon the research of the housing and the rolls’deformation.The research focus on the housingand roll system of the 1580 skin miller.This paper analysis model with ANSYS10.0, after loading the biggest rolling forceand calculating, this paper analyzes the stress and deformation regularity of distribution.and arrive at a conclusion: the machine housing type 1580-the biggest stress appears in thehousing and beam constraints and turning a place, a maximum of 9.12 MPa, column andupper and lower the stress distribution of the beam is evener. Study should be emphaticallyresolve pillar,beams and stress concentration in the corner of the constraints. Can reducethe size of the column section value and transfer it to beam up and down reasonablily. Thedeformation flat of the 1580 machine housing main occurs the X and Y directions , theheight of the window along the Y direction has increased 1.022 mm direction; The width ofthe window direction along the X direction reduced 0.910 mm. when analysis of the staticstrength, this paper still using simplified mill housing, without considering the influence ofthe holes and slots, the actual research process should as far as possible according to theactual situation of the reasonable simplified.With the elastic deformation model system up modeling and analysis, according torolling force under pressure, the study can make out all directions for the migration changethe influence of the deformation. From the result of finite element method of the 1580 skinmiller model can be concluded that: the 1580 skin miller makes the largest migrationdirection and rolling force direction in the biggest rolling force, the biggest migration is0.518 mm, which is in line the state rolling steel industry standards, but in other directionalso to have certain migration, so we should consider it when rolling the plate, in order tomake the product which needs the higher process performance.
