TC1 titanium alloy with high plasticity, thermal stability and weldability, can be used stably under high temperature condition in the field of aerospace. During the plastic deformation process, texture is always performed in TC1 titanium, which leads to the anisotropy which affects its mechanical properties and processabilities. Therefore, controling or eliminating the effect of texture has become an important topic for nowadays material researches. In present paper, TC1 titanium plate is cold rolled by different reduction. For 65% reduction TC1 titanium cold rolled plate, different annealings are conducted by which deformation texture and recrystallization texture are investigated. And further, effects of texture on the static and dynamic mechanical property are studied. Meanwhile, both texture evolution and effects of texture of TC1 titanium rod on the static and dynamic mechanical property are also investigated in order to provide theoretical support and help for the process and manufacture of TC1 titanium products. The results showe that intense basal {0002} texture and split-basal {0002} texture are formed during cold rolled of different reduction, and the {0002} texture consists of {0002}<10-10> and {0002}<11-20> components. And {-2112}<2-1-13> texture is also formed in the cold rolled plate with 65% reduction. During the recrystallization of TC1 cold rolled plate with high reduction, recrystallization texture inherite the deformation texture, i.e. {0002} texture, which resultes from Oriented Nucleation and Oriented Growth. The lowΣ12 andΣ11 value CSL(Coincident Site Lattice) grain boundaries correspond to the {0002}<11-20> and {0002}<10-10> play an important role during {0002} texture formation. Heat rate has a great inference on the process of recrystallization, salt bath furnace heat treatment could promote the recrystallization, while stage annealing postpones it. By static tension, compression and dynamic impact, the result shows that {0002} texture has an intense effect on the anisotropy. Parallel to the RD, the specimen has a good elongation percentage and contraction cross sectional area, while the specimen parallel to the ND holds higher compression strength. A large number of twins are found to coordinate the external deformation in the specimen parallel to the TD and RD during compression and specimens parallel to the ND, RD and TD during dynamic impact.Typical <10-10>∥ED fiber texture is formed during thermal extrusion of TC1 titanium rod, and annealing reinforces the <10-10>∥ED fiber texture intensely. The results of static tension and compression and dynamic impact show that elongation percentage and contraction cross sectional area are 25% and 36% respectively. Many twins are found to coordinate the external deformation during compression and dynamic impact, and the number in the extruded specimen is apparently larger than that in the as-received specimen during dynamic impact. In addition, both specimens perform different effect rate effects.
