In the context of economic globalization, the competitiveness of enterprises isincreasingly reflected in the effective integration of all members of the supply chainresources, not just to make good use of the controlled resource. Therefore, manyenterprises transform from the traditional "vertical integration" into the managementmode of "horizontal integration". In the "horizontal integration" mode, manyoutsourcing out, the more energy will be dedicated to the main business of theenterprise, which enhances the core competitiveness of enterprises and in favor ofcombination between enterprises. Community of interests in the operating structureforms the supply chain.Machine tool supply chain is a typical discrete manufacturing supply chain.Compared with other manufacturing supply chain, the distinguishing feature ofmachine tool supply chain is the number of suppliers and almost no dealers. OEMorders through competitive bidding, and machine tool products are delivered directly tocustomers. With the quality competitiveness brought about vitality to the machine toolbusiness, the machine tool company’s internal quality management has certainlyimproved and many machine tool companies started to learn the foreign experience ofquality management to extend to the supplier, which formed to the OEM core of themachine tool supply chain quality management. The machine tool enterprisesincreasingly recognize that healthy and stable operation of the machine tool supplychain plays a key role for the competitiveness of enterprises. However, once themachine tool supply chain running out the specified track, managers is difficult toquickly identify the short board, or managers find a short board but cannot find aspecific reason. Therefore, the diagnosis of the machine tool supply chain has becomean important subject for managers to be solved. Traditional diagnostic methods aremainly related to qualitative analysis or based on complex mathematical models, whichneither conducive to the diagnostic results obtained, nor to the promotion andapplication of diagnostic methods. Thus, a combination of qualitative and quantitativediagnostic method is proposed to provide a good reference for the machine tool supplychain quality management.Firstly, the concept of quality of supply chain operations is proposed and thequality characteristic of supply chain operations is given though combining the definition of quality characteristics. Then, the characteristic and operation qualityformed process of machine tool supply chain is described. The paper analyzes the mainfeatures of the machine operation quality of the supply chain management. Finally, thepaper introduces the diagnosis of the supply chain theory and tools.Secondly, based on the idea of "diagnosis after evaluation ", the paper usestriangular fuzzy AHP to evaluate the operational risks of the machine tool supply chain,and the application of fish bone analysis is used to identify risk reasons. The machinetool supply chain critical failure factors diagnosis based on fault tree analysis andmachine tool reliability of the supply chain diagnostic method based on GO are raisedin chapter four.Finally, design and develop a prototype system of the operation quality diagnosisof the machine tool supply chain, which is based on the J2EE platform, with theopenness and portability, and provides a platform for information exchange andscientific diagnostic methods and tools for the machine tool supply chain.
