Mine ventilation system for underground mining is as important as bloodcirculation system of human, it is the important guarantee of safe production ofunderground mining. As a result of the narrow working space and face changing in theunderground coal mine, and the special product conditions as the dust and the toxic orharmful gases can not be timely diffusion during the extracting process, makingunderground mining unsafe factors growing. The mine pollutant concentration with themine’s ventilation system has a direct connection, therefore, to ensure a safe andreliable underground mine production environment, a perfect ventilation system is verynecessary.The paper aims at the airflow problems in limestone underground mine,combinedwith the scene actual situation of limestone underground mine of HuangPo mountain,carried out a research about big tubing exhaust mechanical ventilation in limestoneunderground mine, the research has the importantly theoretical and practicalsignificance for prevent blasting fume poisoning accident and ensure safety inproduction in limestone underground mine.This paper main research results are as follows:①Based on the air flow theory in stope, established the stope ventilation physicalmodel of limestone underground mine.②Through to established the numerical simulation about the ventilation law instope in limestone underground mine by COMSOL hydrodynamics simulationssoftware under the same boundary conditions and the invariable ventilator power,determined the airflow variation law with the different pipe diameter, that is under thesame conditions, the maximum wind velocity reduced along with the pipe diameterincreases.③According to the flow field of airflow distribution in stope, obtained the radiusof exhaust column is about15~18m, we can thereby determine the best distancebetween two exhaust column’s mouths, ensure the wind current velocity is moreuniform and stable, to achieve effective ventilation effect.④According to the scene actual situation of limestone underground mine ofHuangPo mountain, established the big tubing exhaust mechanical ventilation, andeffectiveness analysis on the ventilation system, it is concluded the mine ventilation system is safe and reliable. At the same time, the results show that the ventilation effectof the big tubing exhaust mechanical ventilation system is good.
