At present, China’s metal mines underground are largely extension and application in multi-stage ventilator station system. In order to ensure the safty of underground mine production, give full play to the multi-stage ventilator station system’s optimal performance and achieve air flow distribution according to the production conditions, it is particularly important to monitor air flow, air pressure and other airstream parameters of station’s fan in real time accurately. However, there are clearly insufficient in monitoring the accuracy, control, versatility, anti-interference and so of the existing fan monitoring device.Based on this, the paper design a new monitoring device of air flow and air pressure for mine fan which based on ATmegal6single-chip microcomputer. It’s not only to achieve real-time accurate measurement of air flow and air pressure, but also for reversing fan can finish fan measurement. This device has a field correction function, which can be calibrated in different field conditions, the field measurement results more in line with the true value.According to the underground installation of station’s fan and ventilation characteristics, combined with the hydrodynamic Bernoulli’s equation, continuity equation and resistance law, etc, this paper establish a mathematical which model monitoring air flow and pressure. Then this paper discusses the monitoring device hardware and software design process, the hardware circuit to ATmegal6microcontroller as the core control chip, the high-precision differential pressure transmitter for the signal acquisition unit, with the secondary microcontroller, A/D converter, LED digital tube, the signal output circuit etc. achieve the data collection, processing, computing, local display and output. This device of the input and output signal take anti-interference isolation design. Finally, on-site testing, analysis of the data were processed. To meet the conditions underground complex measuring wind, the use of on-site calibration approaches to improve the testing precision of the air flowand air pressure of the fan.Monitoring device operation is stable, and the test results are accurate, preliminary design to achieve the desired effect, for the accurate monitoring mine ventilation provided strong support, has a broad prospect of application.
