Along with the development of science and technology, laser numerical controlcutting machine have been widely applied to aerospace, machinery manufacturing,shipbuilding and other fields. Cutting plates become more and more thick and the speed ofcutting faster. However, the design and research technology about high-grade laser cuttingmachine in the domestic has not mature.This paper, whose research objects are high-power laser cutting machine andthree-dimensional numerical control laser cutting machine, has done the instantaneousmodal analysis to the moving parts of cutting machine and the dynamic contact analysis tothe whole equipment though ABAQUS finite element analysis software.Firstly,three-dimensional model meeting the design requirements is preliminarysimplified with SolidWorks software, at the same time entity model is led into ABAQUSsoftware, so that we can develop dynamic simulation of the finite element model in thestate of more freedom.In order to avoid resonance caused in equipment operation,instantaneous dynamic modal analysis to the model should be done. Through the analysisof frequency extraction, output, etc, we can obtain the data such as the amplitude andnatural frequency of the model in damping state. It plays a directive role in the design ofthe body.The simplified physical model is led to ABAQUS software to establish a finiteelement model which is comparatively close to the engineering practice. The analoguesimulation analyses the dynamic contact problems appeared in the process that the axis ofthe model begins with the static state and accelerates step by step. It also analyses thestrength, the stiffness and the working precision of the cutting machine, then it proposesthe feasible suggestions for improvement according to the results of analysis.Lastly,the series of dynamic contact models of the two kinds of types of cuttingmachine are simulated in the situation of different accelerations and the samedisplacement. It studies the relationship of the inertial force and acceleration, makes aconclusion and obtains the graph, which has theoretical significance to make the deductionto the situation that its required speed is higher than the maximum running speed of the equipment.
