The scale inhibition of polymer IA-SSS-MA-AA was synthesizaed with itaconic acid (IA),styrene sulfonic sodium (SSS),maleic anhydride (MA),acrylic acid (AA) as monomers, water as solvent, ammonium persulfate as initiator。And determined by the orthogonal experimental factors:initiator dosage,IA:AA,polymeric temperature, polymeric time,IA:SSS。A single factor experiment studied mole mass proportion, initiator dosage, polymeric time, polymeric temperature and other factors。The experimental results showed that the copolymer had an excellent efficiency of scale inhibition against CaCO3 when the mole mass proportion is IA:SSS:MA:AA=1:0.02:0.05:1,polymeric temperature is 85℃,12% by weight of the mass fraction of initiator in total monomers, the polymeric time is 4 hours。The scale inhibition efficiency against CaCO3 is 95.25%。The structure of the copolymer were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR) testing means。The copolymer contained carboxylic acid-based copolymer, anhydride groups, sulfonic acid groups of the spaces。The copolymer of the relative molecular mass was 1.896×104 by the Viscometry (similar to the molecular weight of itaconic acid was concerned)。The static scale- inhibiting experiments of itaconic acid copolymer results showed that the copolymer had an excellent efficiency of scale inhibition against calcium carbonate , calcium sulfate and calcium phosphate。The spectrophotometry experiments further studied the stability of the iron oxide dispersion, the ability of zinc and the biodegradability。The results showed that itaconic acid copolymer to the dispersion of iron oxide and the biodegradability had a certain capacity, but itaconic acid copolymer had little capacity to the stability of zinc。...
