This paper’s analysis of the key problems in the research of fatigue damage andconcluded that several injuries describe the baseline evaluation principles, based on thisanalysis of residual strength theory. Through the analysis of defects pointed out thattraditional measurement method for residual strength. This combination made based ondamage mechanics method of elastic modulus measurement elastic modulus on fatigueresidual strength for damaged materials of. First to verify the feasibility of modulus method.Feasibility verification, for this paper, characteristics of an object, emphasis on themeasurement of elastic modulus of local measurement of the weak position, followed bymathematical derivation, got a simple evaluation method of correlation as the theoreticalbasis for this experiment. Finally experimentally proved partial softening and residualstrength degradation rate there is a sufficient correlation, partial softening rate can determinethe residual strength degradation rate, so as to realize the measurement of residual strength.This proved the feasibility of modulus method. The feasibility on the basis of unsubstantiated,experimental data through partial softening and residual strength degradation rate correlation.As a result of relationship derived from experimental and theoretical differences between,damage mechanics, applied after discussion, with its theoretical basis for theoretical analysisof these differences, period based on an analysis of needs, details on damage evolutionprocess had been assuming. Through experimental results analysis indicated that thetheoretical results in simplified form, while noting that the simplified formula can causemeasurement results than the actual value of the damage early, effect of this phenomenon inthe last demonstrated in the comparison, while also supporting the assumptions made in theabove analysis. Finally confirmed through analysis on application effect of residual strengthmodulus method for measuring accuracy and practicality. Based on residual strength oftheoretical study on fatigue damage of experimental data has an important role.
