Derived from the elements of the continuum mechanics, the applied fatigue damage mechanics theory system of material is analyzed, and the corresponding rule of cumulative fatigue damage is built up. Combined with the applied theory of fatigue damage, a damage mechanics model for high cycle fatigue is deduced. At the same time, a fatigue damage evolution law based on the theory of cumulative fatigue damage is presented, using the electrical resistance of material. And the electrical resistance change is validated by the whole-bend experiments under different stress ranges.When comparing the electrical resistance with some other common damage parameters, the damage evolution law expressed by them is obtained. And the relationship between resistance and fatigue cycle numbers has been studied essentially. Thereafter, the electrical resistance using for fatigue is given pilot study from the metallic resistor and properties of the electronic elements.
