With the rapid development of science and technology, new technologies play anincreasingly important role in people’s everyday lives. Electronic maps (generalelectronic map, including browsing on an electronic map in PC, such as the use ofelectronic maps and software on a phone, but also support the positioning andnavigation) and navigation electronic map (mainly used for in-car navigationsystems, can provide real-time line for Automobile navigation electronic map) andmore widely used. People’s travel, tourism, shopping around is dependent onelectronic maps enhanced by electronic map to quickly find the region of interest, tofacilitate people’s lives. Therefore, how fast and efficient real-time updating ofelectronic map information has become a hot topic.This article is based on the above requirements, how to update the road map datafor the purpose of individuals, passengers or taxi companies and other GNSS line datasent, after the work on these data, use of vector digital maps, satellite images orexternal media reports and diagrams to determine the authenticity of the line dataobtained. Finally, test updates the road data in open electronic map, usability andoperability of this method has been verified.The issues to be resolved in this article are as follows:1) How to maintain electronic map’s road data in real time of current issues inquestion;2) How to update the road map data quickly and efficiently;3) How to accurately identify the line gets the data and processing problems;4) How can low cost and low into the path of digital map data updates. Primary study on the content of this article are as follows:1) Electronic map update the data source: General Electronic maps generally usethe map or satellite image as the source of the map data update the data source orcurrent issues in poor or too costly, this is for real-time updating of electronic mapdata increases the difficulty and cost. In this paper, GNSS data as a data source cansave big update difficult and costly, and can Improve productivity;2) Filter electronic map update the source data: In the Access to GNSS lines needto filter the data after accept, combined with the original road maps, satellite imagesor news reporting to remove false data or unreasonable data, leaving meet therequirements for electronic map update of data;3) Highway level judging: GNSS line data to be available with the preliminarydecision of road level. Over the wire to be able to determine the number of road lanes,split tacks able to judge whether the middle of the road through their isolation, byspeed, and number of lanes, and location information to determine the level of theroad;4) Curved handle: The road is not a simple straight line, but intricate network ofcriss-cross. The combination of design features of the curve, made a reasonable wayto turn to effectively collect data;5) The road curves fitting: Composed of the road than a one line, but formed by aline or curve, the need to line available for the curve fitting the data accordingly sothat the resulting line style of the road curves to be closer to the actual Road;6) Road data updating: To open the electronic map update the test object as datawill be collected in line with the updated road update the data requirements, test andcompare the before and after the update. Tests indicated that this method not onlyfeasible, and can meet the actual requirements of your applications.
