Liushugou Copper Mine is located in the Yanqi county northwest, liushugou along thecopper prospects in very difficult due to traffic conditions, the low level of geologicalexploration work in the past, only done the surface census work. Mine found a large numberof copper ore body in the region, but its size is too small, it is difficult to development andutilization. The copper minerals urgent, in order to accelerate the process of local miningdevelopment, promote local economic development, research in the area metallogenic modelis of great significance. Mining area tectonically located in the northern margin active belt ofTarim paleo-plate Hula mountain late Paleozoic island arc, the stratigraphic trend anddirection of the tectonic line are nearly NWW to nw. The development of fault fold zone,volcano, magma activity strongly. Structural properties to pressure, fold type is mostly closedupright isopach fold. They control the formation and distribution of mineral layer.On the cause of deposit in this area, there are different views, mainly there is a disputebetween porphyry and hydrothermal type.In this paper, on the basis of collecting the previousresearch data, through field geological investigation, mineral comprehensive identification,geochemical anomaly, geophysical anomaly and other means, and combining with the willowditch copper regional geological background, a detailed study of the geological characteristics,geochemical characteristics of the ore deposit, geophysical characteristics and ore-controllinggeological factors, and then discusses the process of mineralization and ore deposit. Throughresearch that the mine copper mineralization in ore-bearing rock and ore bearing structurewith diversity performance, but the source of the copper-bearing hydrothermal unique, thatthe deposit belongs to and the volcano intrusive activities related to low temperaturehydrothermal filling deposit,and pointed out that the mine next prospecting direction and keytarget areas.
