Nowadays the geological exploration projects are implemented widely and newequipments of geophysical and geochemical come into use. The supervision moderelying on artificial means and paper trail is being replaced by informationalizedmonitoring platform of geological exploration projects which combine networktechnology, GIS, DM etc. The Remote Scheduling Monitoring Platform of CentralGeological Exploration Fund is a new generation monitoring platform of geologicalexploration projects which is based on supervision experience and informationizationconstruction of land and resources.The geological and monitoring information produced by the geological explorationprojects is vast and has obvious spatial characteristics. And nationwide fundamentalgeographic information such as geological map, topographic map, remote sensingimage is needed by geological exploration projects itself.Geochemical exploration is one of the common methods to prospect mines and alsothe significant monitoring target of geological exploration monitoring platform. Thistopic is a research of data acquisition, spatial data storage and visualization, DEAusing aiming at geochemical exploration project. The service of monitoring platformof geological exploration projects increase the efficiency, strength and standards ofgeochemical exploration projects with massive geochemical data and spatial datastored in RDB. It’s convenient to check corresponding value and analysisgeochemical data using DM such as DEA, neural network analysis helpingmonitoring department informed of progress and efficiency of geochemicalexploration projects, providing decision basis of further work. This topic use the monitoring of geochemical exploration projects as the researchcontents, implementation of GIS module as the research point, DEA as the researchinnovation. The main work is as follows:1) Study the basic theory of DEA and the main implementation of DEA module.Archive DEA using in geochemical exploration projects.2) Study corresponding theory of spatial database, including advantagesanddisadvantages of four types of spatial database. Study the popular spatial datamodule.3) Explore the theory and application of important section of CGEFS—components ofMapGIS platform, including MapGIS-SDE and MapGIS IGServer.4) Implement the monitoring module of geochemical exploration projects, using ofDEA, spatial data storage and visualization.
