Storage Applications of geospatial data are a frontier science of geographic information system in Embedded System. Embedded geospatial data is a system bottleneck problem, the paper is to solve POI data storage applications in embedded navigation system, i.e. to realize POI data organization and management by Embedded spatial database, establish embedded geospatial data to storage mapping, and finally quickly get POI data scheduling&index.The paper presents POI data storage applications in embedded navigation system at home and abroad, to simply analyze the feature and structure of embedded geospatial database, Then describes the embedded relational database SQLite’s architecture and development of mechanisms, and an overall introduction to geospatial data&Organizational Mode, on condition that to build BDS development platform from normal file management to embedded geospatial database on SQLite database. Moreover uses EVC tool to a secondary package of SQLite application methods to provide a simple, highly efficient and full—featured application interface for database operations, and gives the concrete example finally.
