Development of desalination technology is the most effective way to alleviate the pressure of the water. Combined use of hydropower station that the electric power and steam power for seawater desalination device, can decrease the cost of desalination. Multi-effect evaporation desalination device is composed of water and electricity co-generation system. Hydroelectric power plant integrated system model is set up by the Aspen Plus software, and the simulation calculation of steam turbine unit and desalination system performance are carried out. Calculation of steam turbine unit is under the rated conditions, at the same time, considering extraction steam supply quantity and position. Calculation takes into account the process of seawater desalination system form, work number, secondary steam ejector location, preheating position factors effected the performance of the system.When considering water desalination system products production, only increasing the number of evaporator effect, improving the quantity of heat, choosing the front steam turbine unit confession gasoline and moving forward in the TVC secondary steam extraction location measures have obvious advantages.As the amount for the steam through the turbine group is given, the total coal consumption and coal consumption allocated to the desalination changes with the conclusions. In testimony given extraction steam case, we can see a direct reflection of the total coal consumption of the system for energy consumption. In the gas volume constant (200t/h) in the case of the same power output, the extraction parameters and the total coal consumption is lower. The effect of increasing the number of directly affect the total heat transfer area of the evaporator. With the increase of heat transfer area, the system initial investment and operation and maintenance of the economic investment will rise. Considering the amount of investment funds and the ratio of product output, select the maximum extent to meet the system economical solution. However, considering the hydropower generation system as a whole, from the perspective of coal consumption, the location for the steam turbine unit should not be too forward, the high temperature and pressure steam supply desalination plant will increase coal consumption, is not conducive to system thermal economy. Meanwhile, the number of evaporator efficiency of the system will have a direct impact on economic inputs.
