The scope of the occurrence of chilling injury is widely distributed in the world, the emergence of various types of cold damage, often resulting in significant grain yield. As the world food crisis and global climate anomalies and other problems, chilling injury problems are more and more the attention of Governments. Cold-regulated protein of the protein structure generally has the following characteristics:a structure rich in hydrophilic amino acids, secondary structure such as α-helix. If a protein has the characteristics of these structures to determine its hydrophilicity, mobility and thermal stability. So the above structure can be used as a protein to determine whether the cold-regulated protein is a potential basis for one of the family members. However, the cold-regulated protein is a class of advanced structural diversity, a wide variety of multi-gene family, it is difficult few simple structure alone can determine whether a protein family members of the cold-regulated genes, so the new cold-regulated protein The excavation has always been a problem. This bioinformatics approach, using the cold-regulated protein known as an electronic probe, predicted the new potential of16cold-regulated protein in rice, and use the NCBI-conserved domains, SWISS-MODEL and ExPASY ProtParam tool and other online software to predict their functional domains and secondary and tertiary structure and amino acid composition, its potential as a cold-regulated protein family members of the authenticity and reliability theory to make judgments. Analysis showed that these16new potential cold-regulated protein in rice, in line with cold-regulated protein of some basic structural features, the same as with other cold-regulated protein functional domains, for these16proteins belong to the cold-regulated protein family of rice provides some theoretical basis. However, the lack of experimental facts as the basis for relying on new bioinformatics tools to predict the protein or has some limitations. Therefore, in order to verify the prediction of these16new potential cold-regulated protein in rice is rice in cold whether regulatory proteins, and thus has the function to improve cold tolerance in rice, our next task will use experimental methods such as tests of transgenic proteins in the16function,16kinds of rice for this new type of cold-regulated protein whether the potential of cold-regulated protein family members in rice provides more reliable argument. To this end, the paper also did some preliminary experimental work, as a preliminary experiment to prepare for the future basis for further work to do experiment.
