Fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy set with fuzzy membership and fuzzy no-membership more accords with people’s way of thinking, otherwise it overcomes the defect that interval intuitionistic fuzzy sets lack of gravity. Fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy set has important significance to intuitionistic fuzzy set theory and its application. There is no research on fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy multiple decision making methods. The reason is that the fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy set ordination problems involve in the operations of fuzzy numbers. The operations and rank of fuzzy numbers express extremely difficultly. So this paper puts forward2-type intuitionistic fuzzy number concept based on the structured element theory, the representation of2-type intuitionistic fuzzy numbers based on structured element theory is given.The operations of2-type intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are studied and a new operator is given.The distance and score function of2-type intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are defined,enrich the theory of intuitionistic fuzzy set.Finally based on the concepts of operator,distance and score function above,three multi-attribute decision making methods are given and examples are solved by these methods.
