This paper applied methods to study the diversity of wild seed plants and their distribution in Urumqi, such as flora similarity analysis, comparison of similarity and evaluation of plant diversity index.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) There are wild seed plants78families,416genera and1073species (including varieties) in Urumqi. Flora geographic components are very complex and types of distribution are various.There are totally11types of distribution and19transitions of wild seeds. Temperate nature is significant and transitivity is appeared that makes a lot of interchange with the old world temperate distribution and the Mediterranean-west Asia-central Asia distribution.(2) Taking vegetation as a research unit, the research of wild seed plants diversity of vertical distribution pattern in Urumqi shows that:In all the vertical vegetation spectrum of the inspect area, the plain of the valley of vegetation which is in the altitude of700-1300meters spreads the largest number of plants types. The following is mountain forest vegetation belt which is at the altitude of1700-2800meters. The highest elevation of the Rocky Mountains has very less distribution of sparse vegetation of mat wild seed plants. The species richness index is identical with the G-F index change trend, that is with the increase of the altitude, plant species present after first increases, reduce, then add to after certain level, present with altitude increases, plant richness and G-F index gradually reduce, species diversity level also gradually reduced.(3) The study area wild seed plants vertical vegetation spectrum is the nature of temperate nature is given priority to, with the rise of altitude, the general trend is temperate nature gradually strengthened, tropical and subtropical nature composition decreased.(4) Take administrative region as geographical units, the study of wild seed plant level distribution pattern in the area of Urumqi. With the statistical analysis of the species composition, plant differentiation index and G-F index distribution pattern of the seven area and a county species of the whole city, we make the following conclusion:In study area, the plant distribution of the Urumuqi county are the most richness, and then the Mierdong new district and Daban city district. Also, the three geographical units are the most various of plants in the whole area.The study area wild seed plants vertical vegetation spectrum is the nature of temperate nature is given priority to, with the rise of altitude, the general trend is temperate nature gradually strengthened, tropical and subtropical nature composition decreased. With wu-water, the board and the southeast barren hills-as the object, human interference to plant species diversity research shows that:the artificial afforestation and species diversity index closed Shannon-wiener diversity index and Simpson dominance index in the artificial afforestation enclosure changes before and after the basic consistent, Pielou evenness index change trend and Shannon-wiener index and Simpson index is the reverse.
