The energy problem is a problem of common concern to the internationalcommunity, now the energy crisis has been created. The energy shortage andenvironment pollution are major problems for the universe. Therefore, greateremphasis on development and utilization of new energy has become an inevitabletrend. Shallow geothermal energy resources are part of the geothermal resources, through the heat pump technology, we can use the new energy to replace partial fossilfuels for heating and cooling of buildings. Effective using shallow geothermal energyresources are effective measures for energy saving and emission reduction, which arein line with the requirements of sustainable development.Suitability of partitions is an important part for the development of shallowgeothermal energy. According to the different development pattern mainly in the fullaccount of the hydro-geological conditions, watery, permeability, water quality, watertemperature, thermal properties of parameters and geological conditions,we can makesuitability for the study area partition. The purpose of this thesis is to appropriately regionalize the shallow geothermalenergy development of Changchun City. In this paper, based on fully considering theChangchun city geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and geothermalfield conditions, evaluation index system about suitable zones of ground-source heatpump and ground source heat pump system was established. Additionally, fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the suitability. At last,TOUGH2software was used in numerical simulation analysis. The conclusions drawn by evaluation are listed as follows: The city ofChangchun is suitable for developing shallow geothermal energy using ground source heat pump; the vast area west of Jiajiawazi-Balipu-Xinglonggou is not suitable forground water source heat pump system, Jiajiawazi-Balipu-Xinglonggou bedrockfissure water area with the scarp east to the terrace of the west bank of Yitong Riverand the Yitong Valley area are both suitable for developing shallow geothermalresources using water source heat pump. Through the simulation results, the formercompared to the latter is relatively more suitable.
