Less theoretical research of Shancheng gold deposit and intermittent and non-systemic mine geological studies have exposed a sequence geological theory problems.Trough field work and laboratory studies, the geological features of Shandong Shancheng gold deposit have been summarized as the followings: Shancheng gold deposit mainly belongs to archean Jiaodong group and the lithology is mainly amphibolite.Magmatic rocks in mining area is less and only a small amount of granite porphyry can be seen on the surface and unground.Dikes are widely distributed and diorited porphyry、dark veins are closely related with mineralization. The ore bodies of vein1and vein8pulse existed in the quartz veins. The surrounding rocks are mainly amphibolite rocks and the alterationtypes mainly includes silicification、pyritization and chloritization.The ore mineral composition are mainly quartz, siderite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and specularite. With the means of chemical composition analysis, siderite have corrected to calcium-manganese. The ore-controlling structure factors of Shancheng gold deposit includes NNE PengQi guiding structure, NW peripheral matching structure, NW matching structure and NE peripheral accomodating structure. The mineralization stages and mineral generated order is quartz, magnetite, siderite, specularite, gold and pyrite, gold and chalcopyrite, and carbonate.Geochemical major elements and trace element analysis have showed the constant element distribution and the overall element zoning sequence. From bottom to the top, the overall element zoning sequence of vein1is in the order of Ba'Ti'Sr'W'V'Rb'Zr'Zn'Ni'Cr'Co'Cu'Au'Bi'Pb'Ag'Cl'U'M n'As'Hg. And the overall element zoning sequence of vein8is in the order of Cl'Mn'Bi'Zn'Pb'Cr'Ni'Au'Co'Hg'Cu'Aa'W'U'As''Rb'V'Mo'Ba'Ti'Zr'Sr.The mechanism of mineralization of hydrothermal deposits is one of the key and difficult points in the mineral deposit geology. The data collection and analysis showed that mineralization period of Shancheng gold deposit belonged to vanshan period.The ore fluid mainly contained mantle fluids and magmatic hydro thermal. The ore genesis type is mesothermal quartz vein type.The contents above have great significance for theory research and deep mineral resources prediction of Shancheng gold deposit.
