Yaogou gold deposit is located in Xiong’ershan Area, Henan province, at the fault-uprising belt in Southern Margin of north China block, can be divided into structural altered rock gold style and quartz vein gold style. Bearing ore stratum concentrated mainly on the upper layer of Jidanping formation. Wuzhangshan granitoid emplaced in the north of mine. On the basis of faults active and post-magmatic hydrothermal, the ore body distributed in different wall-rock and different space, and the distribution of the ore body was controlled by faults. This paper study on four features to investigate ore-controlling mechanism of Yaogou deposit, that is, regional features, geological features of ore deposit, characteristics of deposits faults and ore-controlling structure characteristics.Though the analysis of joint and fault, paper clear tectonic evolution, determine the mechanical behavior of structural deformations and combination relations, propose that there are three major tectonic stress fields during the period of mineralization phase, and subdivide three hydrothermal mineralization stages.F14 and F1 faults are the main ore-controlling structure. They controlled the location of structural altered rock gold and quartz vein gold, respectively. Paper introduce the basic characteristics of F14 and F1 faults, carry on mathematical statistics of second-order faults and quartz vein near F14 and F1 faults, respectively, and then clear the tectonic evolution of F14 and F1 faults. Combined with regional tectonic activities, author view that the mine is under the NNE compresso stress during the main mineralization stage, NE faults open occurred and filled with quartz vein Subsequently, then under twisting pressure, quartz was crushed, resulting in physical and chemical tablets and mylonite, quartz vein-type deposits was formed. Near the main profile, E-W appear compresso-shear feature, so induce gently dipping extensive parts structurally, and connect steeply dipping extensive parts early, result in mineralizing fluid uplift, filled, altered, enriched, and finally economically mineralized, formed structural altered rock gold. This period last long time, having multiple stage structure pulse characteristics, accompanied by different stage and natural altered, formed different mutually interspersed phenomenon.Ore-controlling structure suffered compresso-extention pulse active, having ductile-brittle characteristics, belonging to ductile-shear zone related gold deposits. Gold mineralization mainly formed Superposition phase of brittle. There have high correlation of cataclasite and ore body, so this provided important Prospecting Significance.
