The Research On The Data Processing Method In The Benxi Geographic Information Common Platform

Digital Benxi Geospatial Framework Construction was initiated in2009. Itmainly included the fundamental geographic information database construction and thegeographic information common platform construction. The geographic informationcommon platform construction was main content of the Digital Benxi GeospatialFramework Construction. Meanwhile, the platform data processing was also coralcontent of the geographic information common platform construction. The platform datawas suitable for the distributed application in Internet and has the characteristic ofintegration, visualization and extensibility.This paper deeply studies the general process of digital city construction, thetechnology of platform data processing, the relevant specifications of geographic entitydata, place name and address data and electronic map data, the production method ofmap tiles and the request of data secret-uncovered processing. It analyses the function ofNewmap platform software, the situation of Benxi network construction andfundamental geographic information database construction and designs the generalprocess of the platform data processing. The general process includes the building ofgeographic entity database, the degrading of platform data space precession, the deletingof military information, the processing of vector data and image data and the productionof geomorphologic map and3D map.Based on this research, the paper provides the production method and process flowchart of geographic information common platform data and is used to guide platformdata processing of the construction of other digital city or digital area.
