Study On Hydro-eco Characteristic And Treatment Planning In Shiyang River Basin

The problems brought by the shortage of water resources and ecological degradationimbalance in arid and semi-arid areas have become the primary issue in many countries andregions. As the Most populous continental river, the development of water resource in Shiyang river is of the highest degree,and the water use contradiction is the most prominent.Alsothe eco-hydrological problems is particularly serious.Therefore, carrying out research oneco-hydrological for shiyang river basin has a profound historical significances of realizingthe sustainable utilization of water resources and protecting the fragile ecological in semi-aridareas.The analysis of this paper is based on the perspective of the hydrologic ecology for thefirst time. From the view of “Sanshui water transformation”, this paper analyzes thecharacteristics of a river basin water resources transformation system, and studies theeco-hydrology effects of qilian mountain which is located on the upstream of Shiyang river.In the analysis of eco-hydrological in the middle and lower reaches of river basin, inorder to highlight the importance of the agriculture and to be base on the eco-hydrologicalcharacteristics, we focus on selected the eco-hydrological factors as the main analyticalindicators，which includes temperature, dust storms, precipitation and evaporation, runoff,groundwater dynamics, groundwater quality, soil evaporation under drought conditionsmoisture content and so on. This paper discussed the evolution of water use and structure ofthe River Basin based on the theory of information entropy; The above analysis results gives areference to the agricultural activities in the River Basin and provides decision support toadjust the economic and agricultural structure.Finally, the paper introduced a series of achievements after implementing the keymanagement planning for the river basin. From the perspective of the theory of“Sanshui watertransformation”,also combining the local conditions, this paper proposes some suggestions tosolve a series of issues and looks forward to the future of river basin during implementing thekey management planning for the river basin.
