SLR is a most high-accuracy tracking technology to artificial satellite flying in orbit, by measuring the round trip time of a laser pulse between satellite and observatory station. After researching over40years, SLR has become one of the most important technologies of space geodesy.KHz SLR in daytime is a most important direction of SLR technology development. This paper will keen on the detecting system of this technology. Typical background noise and successful detection rate in daytime is discussed base on KHz SLR system in Changchun Satellite Observatory. We obtained the key parameters of the detecting system theoretically. Then a detecting system has designed and successfully detecting return photons by satellite in daytime. Finally, the SLR system in Changchun Satellite Observatory accomplishes the improvement of KHz SLR in daytime.
