The accurate P-branch spectral lines of high-lying rotational quantum states of (0,0),(1,1),(2,2) bands ind1b1electronic state transition of NbN molecule are obtained inthis work using the analytical formula proposed in Sun’s previous work. The formula not onlyreproduce all known experimental spectral lines excellently, but also generate the correctvalues of the unknown spectral lines up to J=80that are not available experimentally forthese bands. This study generates correct data for those who need high-lying rovibrationaltransition spectral lines of NbN molecule, and supplies a reliable and economical physicalmethod to obtain the transition spectrum of a stable diatomic molecular theoretically. This dissertation consists of four Chapters. In Chapter1, we describe the significance, and several physical methods used to study the spectra of diatomic molecular electronic states.Chapter2briefly describes the derivation of an analytical formula to obtain accurate spectrallines of diatomic system. The P-branch emission spectral lines up to J=80of (0,0),(1,1),(2,2) bands in thed1b1electronic state transition for NbN molecule were studied, and thecalculated results of NbN molecule are discussed in Chapter3. Chapter4is the summation ofthis dissertation.
