Landslide stability analysis is an important geotechnical research issue. It involves wide engineering field. Landslide is one of the most common type of geological disasters. It is often caused by various uncertainties, including external factors and hydrological geological conditions of the slope. In the case of heavy rain or human activities and other external factors, slope is usually instabile. This paper regards the Dazhou town landslide as the study Object. Based on the analysis of existing geological data and causes of landslides, the transfer coefficients methods used to analyze the stability of the landslide. The landslide governance program proposed in the paper. This major research work as following:①Through the analysis of Dazhou geological survey, the landslide form, composition and other basic characteristics is grasped. The landslide affecting factors and the formation mechanism of Dazhou town is analyed.②The transfer coefficient method and finite element software are used for the representative section of Dazhou town A, B landslide stability calculation. Combined with the rain and the water of Three Gorges dam impact analysis, in the case of heavy rain the A is less stable, in rainfall conditions B landslide is less stable, and in the condition of the dam water fall fom175m to145m sliding will occurr.③According to the stability analysis, cutting side pressing foot, prestressed frame anchor, countersunk head type piles, embankment erosion and other types of landslide program are proposed.Under the consideration of the actual situation, these types of treatment programs are compared among technical, schedule economic aspects. A more reasonable treatment options is preferred. Cuting side pressing foot methods is used in A landslide. Countersunk head piles combined with local scour revetment method are used in B landslide governance.
