Research On Nutrient Structure Of Multiple Diatoms

So far,there is still no equipment to determinate phytoplankton nutrient contentand its composition in the natural seawater with trace amount.Therefore,effective doseof lab-cultured single diatom must be purified and enriched,from which we canmeasure the nutrient content and its composition,discuss the characteristic of naturalphytoplankton nutrient structure indirectly,and discover the relationship betweennutrient structure of phytoplankton and seawater.In this paper,C、N、P、Si content andcomposition of different sized dominant species of phytoplankton are measured，linked with the investigation of seawater nutrient, different sized chlorophyllaconcentration and historical statistics, nutrient structure of different sizedphytoplankton in different area of the sea are discussed.The main conclusions are asfollows:With the influence of precipitation, surface runoff,pollution from land-basedsource, growth and reproduction， metabolism of the halobios in JiaozhouBay,horizontal distribution of layer nutrient concentration gradually decrease fromeast to west,north to south,offshore to far coast,the inside to the outside of thebay.Ammonian is the main form of total dissolved inorganic nitrogen, nitrate takes thesecond place.Horizontal distribution of layer chlorophylla decreased from northeast andoffshore to the south and middle of the bay, and to far coast.The area which have thehighest chlorophylla level lies on the northwest of the bay and on the east nearshorewater.12kinds of diatom,such as Thalassiosira rotula,Nitzschia spp,Leptocylindrusdanicus,Thalassiosiraleptopus,Ditylumbrightwellii,Chaetocerostortissimus,Pleurosigmapelagicum,Odontellasinensis,Chaetocerosdanicus,Corethroncriophilum,Coscinodiscus curvatulus,Skeletonema costatum,have been purified from the seawater andcultured to the appropriate amount,and then their nutrient content and compositionhave been measured.
