Geothermal resources is the collection hot, mine, water to a comprehensiveuseful mineral, as a kind of new energy, it has to environment pollution is small,cheap, easy to mining, can use directly and renewable, and many other advantages, atpresent has been the world most countries development and utilization. Chongqinggeothermal resource is rich and developing very fast in recent years, far more thanexploration and evaluation and research degree, in geothermal resources distributioncharacteristics, genetic model, such as resource has not yet clear, not only increase therisk of the development and blindness, and add the scientific management geothermalfield of difficulty.This paper select the chongqing hot spring as the research object, on the basis ofthe comprehensive analysis and have collected data, the research of the system inchongqing of hot spring resources distribution, occurrence state, the formationmechanism and geothermal resources reserve calculation, for the future to theexploration, development and use hot spring resources offer scientific basis.Statistical analysis of the papers in106hot spring material, including26naturalhot springs and80artificial expose hot spring in the study area, summarizes thedistribution of hot spring by geological structure, topography and landforms, rocks,hydrological and geological conditions,earthquake influence, including geologicalstructure plays an important role. Summarizes the exposed features of the hot spring,such as the relationship of hot spring of the exposed and anticline, fault andstratigraphic lithology.Classifing hot spring according to the water temperature and chemicalcharacteristics in the study area, chongqing mainly for hot spring that low temperature.the hot spring water chemical of the10types with SO4-Ca,HCO3-Ca·Mg,Cl-Na,SO4-Ca·Mg,HCO3-Ca·Na,HCO3-Na,SO4HCO3-Na,SO4·HCO3-Na·Ca,HCO3-Ca,SO4-Na·Ca, of which the SO4-Ca is the main type, itscharacteristic is low salinity, low chloride,-weakly alkaline, etc. The study area of sedimentary basin geothermal resources of a kind of specialand class-basin uplift type. According to the hot spring the exposed conditions willstudy the causes of the hot spring area model is divided into three categories: riverscrosscut type, fracture type and other classes.
