Since invented, apparatus and operation standard in field of wide field electromagnetic method have been used in the practical application widely owing to the development supported by the professor He Jishan, Academician of China Engineering Academy. Meanwhile, inversion and interpretation softwares of this new method are developed rapidly, and transfer to explicit interpretation. What I do bases on these conditions.Wide field apparent resistivity can be acquired by iterative algorithm and inverse interpolation algorithm. In order to compare the two methods, we have done some computation research. Additionally, both forward and inversion modeling of this method could correctly reflect transformation rules of the inhomogenerous underground media.Considering continuous variation of underground media, bilinear mesh was used to model2.5D response of wide field electromagnetic with finite element method. A group of wave-numbers are selected by researching primary field in the wave-number domain, and the results show us with high efficiency and high precision. The storage techniques of coefficient matrix and the solution of equation in finite element method are also key points in the studying work. Then, using ID modeling result to prove the correction of the2.5D codes, relative error is accepted. In the end, the responses of wide field electromagnetic2.5D modeling were showed to us by calculating the different models. These not only can provide us more data to know this exploration method, but also can make foundation for the inversion software.
