It has a long history of bird study in the Shanghai suburbs offarmland habitats, but involves less to fill this blank, account numberand distribution of bird species in the Shanghai district farmland habitat.This study enrich the contents of the Shanghai area bird resources,refinement of the resources of farmland birds summarizes thecombination of farmland habitat characteristics to make acomparative analysis can be based on improved views of farmlandhabitats, but also provide better protection recommendations for theendangered species of birds.Farmland birds resources survey began in October2009ends inNovember2011, lasted two years, conducted a total of30site visits.Distribution of farmland to do the kind of marked the ten districts ofShanghai, the establishment of120transect, record61kinds of birds,belonging to12orders and25families. All birds, winter migratory birds,19kinds,13kinds of summer migratory birds,15kinds of resident birds,migratory birds,14kinds. From the quantitative point of view, the winterbirds constitute the main body of the birds of the investigation.Shanghai advantages sparrow (Passer montanus) and barn swallows(Hirundo rustica). Analyzing the results of the Shanghai winter accountof25015birds, the spring of18219, the number of winter birds wassignificantly higher than in spring and summer; spring and winter birdspecies difference is more complex, Baoshan District, Jinshan District,Nanhui District, Pudong New Area Qingpu District and Songjiang District,winter bird species lower than the spring; three areas of ChongmingCounty, Fengxian District, Jiading District, spring birds in winter.The results show that the improvement of the environment natural,increase the heterogeneity of space, to reduce human disturbance,which will enable the bird community diversity and density increase.
