With the rapid development of science and technology, the requirements of theproperties in the engineering systems has become more and more harsh. The partsfault, the changes of on-link mode between subsystems, and the changes of workscope made the systems structure and parameters jumped, in order to lower theinfuence caused by the above factors as much as possible, we choose the Markovjump systems.This paper provides the passivity and dissipativity for discrete Markov jumpsystems with time-varying and time-delay uncertainty. Firstly, the conception ofstrict passivity is introduced into discrete Markov jump systems with time-varyingand time-delay uncertainty, a condition sufcient for the existence of robust strictpassive controller is given by choosing a suitable type of Lyapunov function andusing the linear matrix inequality. Based on this condition the robust strict passivecontroller is designed, then, the conception of dissipativity is introduced into discreteMarkov jump systems with time-varying and time-delay uncertainty.
