On the basis of the collection and analysis of previous data, the author conducted field geological investigation, geochemical exploration, soil geochemistry and indoor synthetic analysis, then analyze the geological setting, soil geochemical characteristics of Fengshulin W-polymetallic mining area in middle Hainan. Main results can be obtained as following:(1) By1:25000digital geological mapping, the paper find out some geological situations, such as strata, structure and magmatic rock.(2)Soil geochemical survey and geochemical analysis of test data indicate9element anomalies and the relative enrichment factor of W, Cu, As, Au. Through the research and analysis of these anomalies, the studied region can be divided into two composite anomalies (CA-1, CA-2), and abnormal region is selected.(3) Through the study of geological characteristics and geochemical anomaly, two prospecting areas(Ⅱ-1, Ⅲ-1) have been delineated, Ⅱ-1predicting area with the area of0.28km2locate in the northeastern part of mine area; with the area of0.41km2, Ⅲ-1predicting area locate in the mid-eastern part of mine area. The interpretation and evaluation of assemblage anomaly show that the studied area is favorable for prospecting of Au-polymetallic deposits, showing excellent prospecting foreground.To sum up, most of the study area are W, Cu and other metal ore prospecting, metallogenic types of prediction for controlled by fracture structure magmatic hydrothermal filling vein or veinlets metal deposits and porphyry type metal deposits, for the next exploration and engineering validation provides reliable scientific basis and prospecting direction of; further ore prospecting work has certain guiding significance.
