The Luziyuan Pb-Zn deposit located at the axis of the Luziyuan anticline of Baoshan-Zhenkang block, is a sedimentary reworked-skarn Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit with multiple stages of mineralization. The Luziyuan Pb-Zn deposits produced inmarble, slate, schist of the inter layer zone of Shahechang groups, the Cambrian system.The primary halo zoning is to collect rock samples through the system, analyze the elements content or other geochemical characteristics, and find the geochemical anomalies in order to achieve the purpose of mineral exploration. Through collected from LuZi Yuan 71 line four drilling data study:(1) The ore and halos forming-element exhibit a clear zonation., majority of the elements forming-element zoning is similar.(2) The axial zonation of this ore deposits is as follows(from high to low)Sb-Ni-Zn-Sn-Pb-Ag-Cu-Mo-W-Au-Co-As, Grigorian and establish hydrothermal deposit standard basic consistent.(3) Indexes such as(Sb×As)D/( W×Mo)D are constructed as a criterion for evaluating the ore potential in depth, the specific performance of the index is 22.17 on the top portion of the ore bodies,6.58 in the middle-upper portion,0.26 in the middle-lower portion and 2.51 at the end portion of the ore bodies,illustrating the criterion values decrease to enhance and abruptly with depth,and they can be used for predicting the ore potentials at a given. Combined with the geological background and the formation, structure, alteration and other important prospecting signs, the use of primary halo axial zoning, can provide strong evidence for the extension of the ore body to the deep part of the mine and the prediction of the depth of the blind.
