Changtangling W-polymetallic ore area is located in a region which is controlled by Changjiang-Qionghai tectonic belt, SN-trending Qiongxi tectonic belt and NNE-trending Tanye fault tectonic belt, followed impact by the NE-trening Nankunyuan fold belt, and tectonic-magmatic activity is intensely active; So, it has the excellent ore-forming conditions.This article achieved following findings and views on the basis of geological survey and soil geochemistry survey in the ore area and consideration on the regional geological features:In the ore area, the most important structure are two fault structures of F1and F2, the secondly is joint, and fold is not obvious. The metallogenesis is close related with porphyroid biotite adamellite and its contact zone with two-mica moyite; The strong country rock alteration and mineralization all suggest that greisenization is one of the most important prospecting mark.Methods of soil geochemistry survey is briefly summarized; It is considered that the most possible of ore-forming elements are W and Mo according to calculate the ore area soil geochemical parameters and element distribution;Using iterative method to determine the soil geochemistry anomaly threshold and compiled geochemical anomaly map with1,2,8times of anomaly threshold, and then delineated more than one metallic anormaly area;Redefinite of the indicator elements combination for prospecting by multivariable statistical analysis in this ore area as follows:W-Sn-Bi; Cu-Pb-Zn-Mo; Au;Adopting anomaly scoring method to assess anomaly association of W-Sn-Bi and Cu-Pb-Zn-Mo, and these anomalies are consistent with single element anomalies and geological characteristics.In the southwest of the ore area, a mineralization target is delineated to give some references for further work.
