Landscape Analysis And Evaluation Of Residential Areas In Ningbo

Residential green was a fundamental component of urban green space system, which played an important part in protecting urban biodiversity. With the improvement of people living standards and increase of lifestyle, the demand for residential landscape was also increasing.When people urged the high greening area and greening rate,they were increasingly demanding for residential landscape.In this paper,a study based on seven residential areas in Ningbo, we investigated plant species and their species composition, analysed community physiognomy characteristics and structure type, evaluatded from the aesthetics of plant community landscape. The main conclusions were obtained as follows:1.In those residential area,the plant species were rich, the plant community structures were diverse,and the species diversity was prominent. There are199green plants, including72trees (27evergreen trees,45defoliation trees);71brushes (42evergreen brushes,29defoliation brushes);36herbs;17aquatic plants;3vines.2.The seasonal aspect changes significantly on the campuses’ green space of the residential areas in Nanjing. The species richness of Hangzhou universities is different significantly. Arbor layer has the largest species diversity index and Pielou evenness index than shrub lager, while herb layer has the lowest values of species diversity index and Pielou evenness index.3.The synthetical assessment results of plant landscape from7residential area showed that the residential area of the comprehensive evaluation index Ⅰ was1,12.5%of total, whose name was BOBO; the residential area of the comprehensive evaluation index Ⅱ was6,75%of total; the residential area of the comprehensive evaluation indexⅢ was1,12.5%of total, whose name was Waterfront Style. After analysing the plant landscape of different residential areas, we found that the characteristic of BOBO plant landscape was better in the beauty of the bole,the planting disposition and ecological benefits; the residential areas of the comprehensive evaluation index Ⅱ was better in the beauty of the bole and planting disposition,but ordinary in the ecological benefits; the residential areas of the comprehensive evaluation index Ⅲ was general in terms of beauty of the bole, planting disposition and ecological benefits.
