With the development of science and technology, the explore of micro-material world has advanced to the basic particle. On the basis of the analysis of a large number of hadrons and their properties, the theory of hadron structure, the Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD) and the unified theory of electroweak have been established and developed, which form the standard model of particle physics. The study of hadron structure is based on the properties of the hadrons, such as life, width, spin, parity, spin and other quantum numbers, among which the spin is investigated for the purpose of understanding the spin structure of nucleon. In the recent years, the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) has attracted enormous interest. The GPD, which is widely anticipated to provide even more information about the internal structure of the nucleon, has become a common tool describing the hadrons at the level of quarks and gluons. The electromagnetic form factor and the Feynman parton distribution are both the special limits of the GPD.The calculation is based on the one loop level with the finite range regularization. In this dissertation, based on the one loop level with the finite range regularization, the first moment of the GPDs is calculated by using heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. The description of the lattice data is satisfactory and the extrapolated moments at physical pion mass are consistent with the results obtained by using dimensional regularization, although the extrapolation in the momentum transfer to t=0does show sensitivity to form factor effects which lie outside the realm of chiral perturbation theory. At last, the significance of the results is discussed.
