The mesons will have obvious spin-flavour symmetry if the infinite heavy quark ( Q = c ,b) mass limit ( mQ→∞) are taken of the six quarks that have been discovered, where an effective theory called Heavy Quark Effective Theory(HQET) can be formulated. And if we take the mass limit ( mq→0) for the light quarks ( q = u , d ,s) the QCD Lagrangian will behave a chiral symmetry, where an effective theory called Chiral Perturbation Theory(ChPT) can be formulated. Under approximate symmetries of QCD the two limits can be used together to build up an effective theory——Heavy Chiral Theory whose effective Lagrangian can be used to describe strong interactions among effective meson fields as well as their couplings to electromagnetic and weak currents, including the relevant symmetry-breaking terms. The effective theory includes heavy mesons (Qq ) of both negative and positive parities, light pseudoscalars, as well as light vector mesons.Many researches have been done on the new cs meson D sJ(2860) ever since its observation in 2006 by BABAR Collaboration, while its quantum numbers have not yet been definitely identified. In this paper HQET, ChPT and the heavy chiral Lagrangian based on the two effective theories are firstly introduced respectively. Then the strong decays of D sJ(2860) meson are considered in the framework of Heavy Chiral Theory. We treat the meson as a 3 ? particle and a 0 + particle respectively, calculate the width of strong decays and find some corresponding branching ratios of the two cases are quite different. This perhaps will be useful in the prospective experiments to identify Ds(2860). The decay of its spin-partners and strangeless-partners are also considered...
