Wind-blown sand flow is a kind of typical two phase flow. In this paper, we used the two-fluid model to simulate and get some properties of the sand. For the two-fluid model, how to describe the interaction effect from solid particles or air-solid two phases correctly become the key. This paper applied two-fluid model to simulate the interaction effect from solid particles or air-solid two phases. The content include:First of all, we developed the two phases fundamental equations of wind-blown basing on the two-fluid model, described the basic idea of the finite volume method and explained the effects of parameters (such as grid quality, the boundary condition) in the process of numerical simulation. Then, we simulated the distribution of sand volume fraction along hight under different collision recovery coefficient with the change of time and compared with the experiment results,in certain calculation area and boundary conditions, then calculated the change of the sand transport rate along hight. The calculation showed that the collision recovery coefficient from sand particles is extremely sensitive to the distribution of sand volume fraction. The distribution of sand volume fraction has the characteristics of negative exponential distribution along hight after reaching stability. The distribution of sand volume fraction along hight is enlarge with the increase of the collision recovery coefficient from sand particles,as is in good agreement with the experimental results. At last, For the interaction from air-solid,we simulated and compared the common three model simulation, gived the change of the Momentum exchange coefficient under different gas porosity with the increase of Reynolds number. We adopted different simulation methods for sparse and dense sand flow, simulated the distribution of the sand volume fraction and Sand speed along hight Using different simulation methods for sparse and dense sand flow.We simulated and compared the distribution of sand volume fraction and Sand speed along hight for different particle sizes of sand, the results are consistent with the related literature.
