Geological disasters have a great threat on the safety of engineering constructions and people’s life and property. The geological conditions of our country are complex and diversiform with lots of geological disasters occurred every year. So, tasks on real-time monitoring, pre-warning and emergency management are extremely urgent demanded. According to statistics from2005to2009, geological disasters caused by slope failure reach up to96.1%. Therefore, the prediction and control of slope stability have become the important parts of geological disaster monitoring and pre-warning system. Based on the domestic and international research status of pre-warning of geological disasters and the research status of pre-warning of slope geological disasters, the work of data collection, stability analysis, sensor selection, study on data transmission network construction, etc. was conducted in this paper for the construction of geological disaster monitoring and pre-warning system of Chengdu-Lanzhou railway.Take the landslide located near the Jiu Zhaigou railway station as study object, this paper presents the geological environments of this landslide based on field investigation and indoor data analysis and the analysis, calculation and evaluation of the stability of this landslide. Firstly, a preliminary evaluation of landslide stability is conducted by the limit equilibrium analysis method-Sarma method. Then, establish the mathematical model according to the fuzzy clustering analysis method to study the stability of the landslide further. The results exhibit that different factors play different roles in slope stability, which belong to different levels and categories select several index to take quantification then establish the mathematical model so as to analysis the landslide. Chosen the angle sensor, displacement sensor and pressure sensor as the representative to show how introduce the sensor using in geological disaster monitoring. At last make the discussion on how to construct the geological disaster monitoring and pre-warning system.
