The Landscape Ecology division is an important means of understanding and exploring the laws of the natural world for people. In recent years, with the deepening contradiction between the human and natural in the process of obtaining natural material, people more emphasis on harmony with nature. At the same time, in order to make the human being and natural world more harmony, on the basis of knowing the nature,we need to understand and explore its own rules and features deeply. Therefore, it has become an important means of understanding nature according to some law or characteristics of zoning from the macro and micro.Using landscape ecology principles and methods, this paper tries to study ecological pattern of zoning on the Fen River’s20Basin Watershed based on landscape indices combined with remote sensing and geographic information techniques. The results show that the pattern of landscape ecology as the guiding ideology Fenhe small watershed division is able to better reflect the regional landscape of the space differentiation status and organizational relationships, it can reveal its spatial structure and characteristics of ecological function, and it can be an evaluation of landscape ecological and planning management. The thesis main research content and conclusions are as follows:(1) The research of Landscape index’s particle size effectIt puts forward the concept and formulas of impact indicators, and combining with the landscape index size change regression model classifies landscape index into six types. On this basis, the paper analyzies the landscape index scale type, scale range and suitable particle size range.(2) The selection between landscape index’s correlation analysis and the best cluster analysis factorOn the basis of summaring previous studies, this paper obtains representative, stable and preferable independence landscape index combination. Firstly, by calculating the correlation matrix of the optimal granularity of landscape indices this paper removes the larger correlation landscape index; then, analyzis the representative’s ecological significance of the different landscape indices; finally, Combining with the research purposes, the paper chooses the LPI index, MSI index, AWMPFD index, PD index, SHEI index, IJI index, CONTAG index, SIDI index and DIVISION index as the analysis factor of Fenhe small watershed landscape zoning clustering.(3) the extraction of20Fenhe river’s small watershedThe paper using ArcGIS9.3software to build a Model model and to Extract the small watershed of the Fen River Basin, and divide the Fen River into20small watersheds. (4) Q-type’s cluster analysis results and its significanceThrough the above best grain size and the optimal selection of clustering factor, using the Q-type clustering method, and tring to use the Euclidean distance and the ward method as a sample affinities metrics and hierarchical cluster analysis, Fen River Basin watershed landscape ecological zoning, Fen River Basin is divided into three different forms:1.In the1970s, the Fenhe small basin is divided into three zones;2.1990the Fenhe small watershed is divided into five zones;3.2009the Fenhe small basin is divided into four zones.Through the above study, it Can be founded that using small watershed of the natural form for the smallest unit of landscape ecological zoning not only perform the regional ecological characteristics welly, but also perform the landscape spatial structure points to the opposite sex characteristics quantitativly. At the same time,it provides a new perspective for Zoning method, and provides a more scientific and comprehensive basis for regional ecological environmental protection and restoration.
