The study area is located in Haladaokou Town and Jiefangyingzi Town, WengniuteCounty, Chifeng City, in Mongolia Province. Previous researches of this area mostly are basicgeological studies, and larger scale (e.g.1:50000) geological work, especially mineralgeological survey, is seldom reported. Based on previous studies and field geologicalinvestigation, this paper analyzes the ore-forming geological conditions and prospective areain this area, combined with the1:50000stream sediment geochemical survey.Upper Paleozoic in study area is subordinate to inner Mongolia grassland stratigraphicdivision in Tianshan-Xingan stratigraphic region, Mesozoic and Cenozoic are parts ofUlanhot-Chifeng stratigraphic division in Daxinganling stratigraphic area of Pacific coaststratigraphic region. This area can be divided into two tectonic units: the eastern isChifeng-Yuanbaoshan depression and the western is Wengniute uplift. This area has goodore-forming potentialities. In the north of Chifeng-Kaiyuan Fault, it is Polymetallicmetallogenic belt of copper: lead, zinc, sliver, molybdenum in the southern of Daxinganling,and in the south of this fault, it is Chifeng-chaoyang gold mineralization area. Based on thegold geological characteristics and mineralization type, the north and south gold deposits ofChifeng could be divided into: Honghuagouzi type, Anjiayingzi type, Chaihulanzi type,Zhuanshanzi type and Nailingou type.From the1:50000geochemical stream sediment survey, this paper take an investigationof mineralization prospect. According the study on geochemical characteristics of streamsediment, element concentration coefficient of Au、Ag、Cu、Pb、As、Bi、W in this researcharea is higher than1, element concentration coefficient of Ag is highest and Au comes second.Variation coefficients of elements is between0.33and40.95and variation coefficients of Ag、Au、Cu、Pb、As、Sb、Bi、Hg、W、Mo are higher than1, the variation coefficient of Au ishighest, Ag and Bi come second. Using the data of background and threshold calculated byProgressive Alternate Method, the number of single element anomalies areas is29, whichareas are greater than4.0km2. The anomaly area of Au、Ag、Mo、A is3.The anomaly area ofCu、Pb、W、Sn、Sb、Hg is2. The anomaly area Zn is1. The anomaly area Bi is4.Based onsingle element anomalies and comprehensive anomalies elect and principle of classification,four comprehensive anomalies are identified in the area, Hs-1is primary anomalies and others are secondary anomalies. These comprehensive anomalies have character of completelyelements association, higher strength, larger scale, clear concentration, great overlying andclear zoning.Finally, this paper analyzes the effectives of comprehensive anomalies and the reasonwhich caused anomalies via geology survey. The Hs-1comprehensive anomalies belt isclassical ore-induced anomalies, and this anomaly caused mineralization ofsilver-polymetallic which closes with granite disk in this area. This anomaly is first batchwhich needs engineering verification;the Hs-4comprehensive anomaly is nore-inducedanomalies; the comprehensive anomaly Hs-2and Hs-3have less area and strength thancomprehensive anomaly Hs-1and Hs-4. But comprehensive anomaly Hs-2、Hs-3have betteroverlaying, same concentration center. It is necessary to have some work and verification tothese two anomalies in this area.
