To explore and exploit mineral resources,which are the foundation of national economic development and the requirements of national sustainable development strategies,is important. It is showed that the geochemical exploration method,long term practice and a large amount of data,is an efficient method for ore prospecting more than once. It will is helpful for further ore prospecting that geochemical prospecting method was summarized for this area,located in Changning Menglian Pb, Zn, Ag polymetallic metallogenic belt,the southern part of the Jinshajiang-Lancang-jiang-Nujiang metallogenic belt. And the comprehensive anomaly was evaluated also.The sample collection and processing,a example for stream sediment geochemical survey method in Mengtong area,should be based on the geochemical landscape combined with the relevant rules, DGSInfo can be used to analyze the data of river sediments. Geochemical map was drawn after the original data of the discrete data grid, It combines the method of traditional statistics and proton region that different geochemical background sub region are extracted background value and threshold, The combination of a variety of analytical methods is necessary to Study of element association.Seven geochemical anomalies, six sulfide comprehensive element anomaly,CdNi-Zn-Ag-Mn-Cu-Cr(AS-I), Pb-Hg-Zn-Cd-Ag(AS-II),Pb-Sb-Ag-Cd-W-Zn(AS-III), W-Sb-Cd-Au(AS-IV),Cd-Zn-Ag-Ni-Mo(AS-VI),Ti-Sb-As-Cr-Ni-Hg(AS-VII), and an-other oxide of Ti-Fe-Cu-Ni-Cr-Co(AS-V), are delineated firstly in this area,exclusive of Pb-Hg-Zn-Cd-Ag and Ti-Fe-Cu-Ni-Cr-Co comprehensive element anomaly area.The AS-II and AS-III have good anomaly metallogenic prospect of,whick are included a wide range of previous delineation, Pb, Zn reached the boundary grade lead-zinc mine, is suggested to make further exploration and evaluation. There is an Small lead-zinc mine in the AS-III. The types of elements and mineralization is very similar to Shidian Dongshan lead-zinc mine of Sanjiang metallogenic belt. The AS-V has a good prospect of copper, iron orethat, is recommended to continue to carry out exploration work. The AS-VI,one of the new there integrated anomaly areas,high strength Au element anomaly, is very similar to Carlin type gold widely distributed of southeastern Yunnan, is Suggestted to develop further development gold metallogenic prospect evaluation. The AS-III and AS-VI, associated with hydrothermal activities, is recommended to conduct special studies on hydrothermal activities and hydrothermal.
