Study On Terrestrial Vertebrate Diversity Of Six Nature Reserves Of Beijing Forestry System

This study is part of the background investigation of biological resources of Beijing forestry nature reserves, the main purpose is to obtain the data of terrestrial vertebrate diversity of nature reserves of Beijing forestry system and provide basic data for the protection of terrestrial vertebrates and development of nature reserves in Beijing.In2010-2011, we investigated terrestrial vertebrates of six nature reserves of Beijing forestry system(Baihua national nature reserve, Yeyahu municipal wetland nature reserve, Yunmengshan municipal nature reserve, Puwa municipal wetland nature reserve, Sizuolou municipal nature reserve and Hanshiqiao municipal wetland nature reserve) with line transect method, the point count method, and the traces method. In this investigation, we recorded the species, numbers, habitat of every individual of terrestrial vertebrate we met. Then we calculate the ADC, level of quantity and biodiversity index (Shannon-Wiener index, evenness index, Simpson index and birds GF index). The results are as fallows:1. Among the six nature reserve we investigated, migratory birds took the most part in wetland type nature reserve, while resident bird took the most part in forest type nature reserve.2. Species and G-F index of bird in habitat type E(around the wetland) are most of all in wetland type nature reserve, while species of bird in habitat type C(Broad-leaved forest and mixed coniferous) is most of all in forest type nature reserve.3. Species of neutral distribution, Palaearctic or rare is more than other types.4. The biodiversity index of Baihua national nature reserve, Yeyahu municipal wetland nature reserve and Yunmengshan municipal nature reserve is more than Puwa municipal wetland nature reserve, Sizuolou municipal nature reserve and Hanshiqiao municipal wetland nature reserve’s.
