As a pillar industry in China, the automotive industry played an important role in national economic development process. Since the1980s, in accompany with the foreign capital's entering, China's automotive industry booted its process of joint investment with foreign companies. After over two decades'development, China has become the world's largest car-producing countries. However, China's automobile industry was deeply controlled by Multinational Corporation. Through closely around the concept and behavior of international monopoly capital and using the methodology for both theoretical and empirical analysis, this essay studied the deep motivations and methods for the international monopoly. Furthermore, to cope with the impact brought by international monopoly capital, based on the analysis of China's policy background and local automotive industry, it proposed the principles and countermeasures for China's automotive industry.This essay is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explored the concept and characteristics of international monopoly capital and elaborated related theories of international monopoly. This laid a theoretical foundation for the succeeding analysis.The second chapter concretely regulated the international monopoly capital's three stages and current status in the development of China's automotive industry, and analyzed it's forms of control, divided into technical control, industrial control and brand control. Such controls results to huge profit transition.Chapter Ⅲ from both internal and external angles approached in-depth reasons of why international monopoly capital controlled China's auto induction. Internally the underlying motivation is the nature of monopoly capital. Externally speaking, the weakness of China's industry policy and domestic auto industry provided such conditions.Chapter Ⅳ sets out the principals and countermeasures of China's auto industry. To cope with the international monopoly capital, China's auto industry should adhere to its subjectivity and make independent innovation as the key strategy of auto industry development.
