| Presently, Xinjiang is implementing economic great-leap-forward developmentstrategy, developing construction is important to it because of it is Pillar industrystatus,and it is important to improve construction technical efficiency to developXinjiang construction. So the author began to study the topic about the empiricalresearch of technical efficiency and determinants of Xinjiang construction.The paper consists of six chapters: Chapter One introduces the overall situationof the paper; Chapter Two introduces the related theory about technical efficiency;The Third chapter introduces the basic situations of Xinjiang construction; Chapterfour and five are the positive analysis on empirical research of technical efficiencyand determinants of Xinjiang construction, which are the key parts of the paper; Thelast chapter gives some advice for the promotion to improve the technical efficiencyof Xinjiang construction.In the fourth chapter we choose samples on input and output from1997to2010,and utilize the DEA method to research the technical efficiency of Xinjiangconstruction, it is divided into two parts: horizontal comparison of31provinces inChina and vertical comparison of19cities in Xinjiang, the horizontal comparisonresults show that, the level of technical efficiency in Xinjiang is medium more or less,the vertical comparison results show that, the technical efficiency in border is betterthan southern, but the gap is not big, the technical efficiency in some southern place iseven more high,from above we can get the conclusion that there has a low level intechnical efficiency of Xinjiang construction.In the fifth chapter we use Tobit model to analysis the influence factors oftechnical efficiency in Xinjiang construction, and the results show that, accumulationeffect, development of industry have significant positive effects on technicalefficiency of Xinjiang construction, labor quality and marketization level havepositive effects on technical efficiency of Xinjiang construction, per capita income, capital allocation and the support of government scientific have little effects ontechnical efficiency of Xinjiang construction, the demand caused by government hasnegative Influence on technical efficiency of Xinjiang construction.The main innovation of this paper is that we conducted in deep research on theefficiency of Xinjiang construction and reached some useful conclusions,using morestandardize research method. The paper is not only in theory innovation, but also thesuggestions in the process of practice, which can help the continual development ofthe Xinjiang construction and Xinjiang economy.This paper is just an exploration work and has many deficiencies in theoreticalsupport and data, with limited time and energy. |
