| High-end equipment manufacturing is the high-end and core link in the equipment manufacturing production. It is very important to have a correct understanding of the international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yantze River Delta under the 12th Five-Year Plan Project.Based on the traditional comparison superiority theory , the competitive advantage theory and the Regional economic theory, this paper has analyzed the international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yantze River Delta using the indexes of RCA , NERCA , TC and IMS. We also reached its influencing factors based on FDI and technological innovation. As the same time , the degree of deviation analysis is used to compare with the Yangtze River Delta and from the industrial point of view. Finally, using the panel data model and the dynamic error correction model, we compare the factors of foreign investment, patent application and R&D investment on the international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yantze River Delta.The conclusion is made that the international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yantze River Delta is strengthened, but as a whole it is week. The international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing is strongest, Shanghai next, Zhejiang is the weakest. The ship and marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry has the comparative advantage. The rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry international competitiveness is the second. The aerospace and intelligent equipment manufacturing industry is the weakest and has the comparative disadvantage. The factors of foreign investment, patent application and R&D investment has positive effects .At the last, on the basis of this reach, we point out the suggestions of promoting the international competitiveness of the high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yantze River Delta. |
